Partners for PPE
California, County government, and Logisticom has procured millions of PPE and, through its partners, have streamlined a distribution system to make it available for free to eligible small businesses and organizations that sign up.
Together For Business
PPE Unite™ is a unique partnership between State, local, and private entities developed to distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) to workplaces for economic recovery while promoting general public health and safety. This large scale effort started with 5.5 million units of PPE, made available to California small businesses through the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) in collaboration with the Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) during this critical time as they look to re-open their doors and bring employees back to work.
PPE Unite™, now one of the largest distribution efforts in the US having served over 30,000 organizations and distributed close to 18 million units of PPE, has been led by Logisticom Inc., whose private partnership is providing e-commerce solutions and logistics expertise to drive the PPE Unite™ program forward, and Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC), an institution proudly helping underserved businesses for over 30 years.

PPE Unite™ would not have been made possible without crucial partnership from the Los Angeles Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) with support from Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS), Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA), working in regional collaboration to support businesses and employees safety.
